It was two hours past midnight and 15 degrees out and when I stopped to grab this photo of Giant. I have taken many shots from this location but was never impressed by the turnout. On this occasion I had forgotten a vital piece of equipment that was essential to hooking up my tripod head… Screwdriver… so using a penny and an almost an hour later I would move on to start my 13 hour 22 mile hike which would encompass 6 mountain peaks.
