My journey Started ten miles south of the Boardwalk at Myrtle beach at the Lake Wood Campground, which had just won a national award for best Campground. I had not been to ocean shores for over two years since my good friends wedding and it had been almost 12 years since I was last at Myrtle Beach. I was involved in family business all week and it was pretty constant from sun up to sun set so I decided to take my only free time to my self and walk through the night and enjoy the ocean breeze. I spent most of the walk on the beach minus a short stint on Ocean Blvd to grab some snacks and water. I have seen countless sunrises on mountain tops but there is definitely something different when you see a east coast beach sunrise. It has been the same way for ever, its always been the sun, the water and the clouds. Powerful
